Raymond and Cindy Wright married in 1999 and have been writing, recording and performing music since 2000. They have performed their songs in many churches in California and in Atlanta and they have been apart of many praise and worship teams. Their music is classified as inspirational gospel and it is inspired through the Holy Spirit. These songs are scripture based and this is their Ministry, to help save souls through the music and enlighten them to the truth, which is Jesus.
Praise the Lord! I know it has been a while! A lot of things are transitioning right now and I am so excited about what the Lord is doing! Just to touch on a couple of things, I have been priviledged to come in contact with some great up and coming artist. Sherica Henderson is one of the most dynamic vocalist I've ever worked with. She is a featured artist on one of the new releases entitled "The Spirit of God". Raymond Wright does a guitar solo on this particular song as well. Both of these artist are highly anointed. I consider it a great privilege to be working with them. Raymond Wright is also a songwriter as well. He is currently working on some things of his own as well as my new project. Keep listening in. You will be hearing from these artist in the near future!
Hello everyone! We are back again and would like to continue with this theme of praise and worship. In the blog prior to this one, we gave reference to the biblical passage in Hebrews chapter 13. There is one important part I believe that we must remember in praising God. We must be in a position where we can freely praise Him. In Hebrews 13:13 (NASB), just before the part about continually praising Him, it states “Let us go forth to Him outside the camp.” When we " go forth to Him, " it brings us as christians to a place of release from the two slaveries of self pleasing and pleasing the world. Again, this is directly related to offering the sacrifice of praise. Pleasing ourselves and the world are two hindrances to spontaneous, free-flowing praise in our lives: When we are self centered and focus on anything other than God, we are not really free to praise Him. The cross removes these two hindrances and sets us free to praise Him. Remember it is BY HIM (Jesus),that we offer the sacrificial praise. When we truly accept what Jesus did on the cross then we allow the Holy Spirit to come in and liberate us. The bible tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. When the Spirit of the Lord is present, then and only then can we truly be in a position to praise God freely. Well that's enough for now. On the next blog we will see what praise has to do with warfare. Until then keep praising.
Hello everyone! Here is the next part of praise and worship. We as christians should know about the importance of the Cross of Christ. There are many metaphors and analogies that we can apply to the significance of Jesus sacrificial death on the cross. The one that I would like to point out in this blog is in relation to the songs that we sing. The bible tells us to offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. When we sing songs, they should primarily be directed upward or vertically to God. Thanking Him for what He has done. Other times we sing songs of praise that are proclaimed among the church and directed to the church as a proclamation of who the Lord is. This is more of a horizontal in our songs. This is how we apply it to what the cross is. It takes both vertical and horizontal to make the sacrifice complete. This is part 2 of praise and worship on our blogs. We will pick up here on the next one. Until then keep praising.
Praise and worship is probably the most significant aspect of the Christian walk. It is through praise and worship that we as Christians draw near to God. Psalm 100:4 says that we enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Psalms 22 says that He inhabits the praises of His people. That is amazing to me to know that God actually takes up residence in our praise! In the old testament people worshipped at Jerusalem in the temple. When Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well He told her that the hour had come when all worshippers must worship the Father in spirit and in truth and that the Father was searching for that type of worshipper (John 21-24). In our next post, we will discuss the true meaning of praise and worship. Until then keep praising.
The Lord desires for our hearts to be in tune with His voice. He desires for us to be in a close LOVING relationship with Him. There are things that the Lord has prepared for us.He desires to reveal them to us but it is only revealed to us BY HIS SPIRIT!
