AWESOME NEWS!!! I was chosen to recieve the Steve Vai celebrity scholarship this quarter for my Berklee Music classes! I'm so excited, and so thankful to those involved, especially the great teachers I've had. I've certainly learned a lot through my coursework here and continue to learn more everyday. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the direct application that comes out of taking these classes. It's been so beneficial to the preparation and implementation involved with starting my own label and releasing my first album through it as a Country artist. I am very appreciative and honored by this award, and I look forward to putting it to good use as I start Concert Touring this quarter with only 3 classes to go! Thanks again! - Trent

Alright! Hey ya'll, I'm pretty excited as I just finished the Winter 2009 term here at Berklee. I really enjoyed Chris Stone's Music Industry Entrepreneurship class, there's so much I was able to take away from it. The class really helped me further define my mission and goals, both as an artist and as a record label owner. I have a strong business plan now to present to possible corporate affiliates as well as other potential artists. I thought I was motivated before to get this label up and running, and after this class I feel I have the preparation and knowledge to really see this business excel. Anyhow, I better get back to work. This week I started the second Music Marketing class and am looking forward to seeing the creativity and innovations my fellow classmates have in spreading "Buzz" about the artists and music they're interested in. I really like how the structure of these Berklee courses breeds creative collaboration. Ya'll take care! Trent

Hey everyone! Today's my 21st birthday and I couldn't be happier as I've started the incorporation process for my own independent record label - Music Thunder Records, Inc. I'm so excited to get this venture going! I am ready to use the lessons I've learned and continue to learn here at Berklee to build this label into an entertianment powerhouse that's a face of the modern music industry in the years to come. I'll be sure to keep everyone up-to-date on the process as well as the upcoming releases on Music Thunder Records, Inc. Thanks for following! Trent
