welcome to my music app! hooray!

Hello to all! Since I was first introduced into the Alaskan Music world at a young age, I found a fondness for singing. At first, it was singing to the radio during our family’s summer road trips to bluegrass festivals that the late Ken Terry had done sound for. But soon I became interested in singing not just in the car but on stage, just like my parents were. It’s their fault really. They made it look like so much fun. So my dad would back me up and I squeezed in performances here and there at places like the Hunter Creek Bluegrass Festival and the Anderson Bluegrass Festival. But then life happened, and I set my musical ambitions aside for quite a few years. Eventually I found inspiration again in my rambles through the Alaskan woods with my wife Katie and rediscovered how music has an almost magical way of erasing boundaries and connecting us all to our common emotions that is the human condition. Life knows no rules and hides an endless array of perspectives to express. It’s in those perspectives that I lose myself into and find happiness in the release of words onto paper and notes from within.
