EP Review

This four song EP reeks of luscious mellow grooves with a slash of those funky fun loving vibes that only Ska can provide. “Blanchard Manor” gives a sneak peek of the obvious lessons of life. Things aren’t always what they seem, or more importantly some things really are too good to be true; oh and very possibly get an alarm system if you happen to live in the ghetto.

For only being a three man ensemble, they have something fairly awesome in the works. Between the simplistic, yet not mundane, bass lines laid by bassist Joey Vazquez, earthy percussion of Evan Weiner, and soul-filled riffs of Kyle Holton it’s clear that these gents that call themselves Chieforia have a passion for what they are doing. To be perfectly honest, I think these fellas have a great sound. I’m excited to see where they go from here.
