Surfacing from deep writing mode to play a couple of live shows over the next couple of weeks. It'll be fun to tread the boards again...
Don't know if being reflective spurs one to write - or if writing forces one to be reflective. Either way, it's all good. It gets One off One's ass... :)
Perky, yet still pigeon-toed - the live set is locked and loaded for the 20th Annual Iron Horse Festival in our hometown train-yard. Should be a good time. Pretty funny, though - writing still barges into every rehearsal, rather like Kramer in an episode of Seinfeld...
Got some new stuff on the slab at The Coop. Some crunchy rhythms, some sharp rhymes and a bunch of insistent melodies and allied harmonies have presented themselves to us in the past couple of weeks. We will follow them to wherever they may lead and determine their worth when we get there...
Got a few shows in - had some good fun launching the new record and helping out at a benefit.
The new disc is getting some nice reviews and a bit of airplay. We couldn't be happier with the response. Thanks to all of you for listening.
