Every once in a while I long for the magic that can happen on stage during a live performance. True, I've been very fortunate to work with some musicians that naturally feed the fires of togetherness and attention and most certainly awe, but since most of my inspirations are gathered within the confines of my studio and the band between my ears, I eagerly await the next musical adventure that may come my way. I know there is still some Magic out there to be found.
Lucky for me, my musical web of friends and players is world-wide, and I truly appreciate their support over these many years. But most of all, there are a few who still contribute their talent and skills on the songs that I have composed here in The Cave for nothing else then just for the fun of it. Our musical madness still thrives on a melody, on a riff, and certainly on a groove. To my cohorts, I propose a toast, "Cheers, my friends, and thank you for all your help keeping this ol fart playing!" Amen.
The journey of the enduring musician is never-ending as we always strive to be one .From the beginning of "music is my life", to "I've played music all my life", to "oh, I like that new sound". Play on, my friends. Enjoy your journey!
