I posted three songs that i recorded when i had just got back into my music and picked up the recorder back at the end of 2010. These songs were recorded in the first week of 2011. I had just started recording and was not savvy with the machine and how to mix it all and they came out too quiet and fuzzy. I picked up a program that enhances the sound and cleans it up a bit and they sound pretty cool so i decided to get them out there. I really liked my free flowing style that i had in these tunes so i wanted to put them out for others to hear. Let me know what you think.

I uploaded a video i recorded of "It's Time" last year around this time when a buddy stopped by with his ipad. 'Still waiting to get my own camera so i can really make a few vids without having to rush it through My web cam is good for pics but little else. The sound quality is poor, good for talkin not makin music.
Hello every one, please bare with me. As i said in an earlier blog, i was having trouble with my mixer recorder. To adjust i had to find ways of working around the glitches. I mixed, remixed and mixed again. Unfortunately the sound i get from my media player is different than the sound i get after uploading to reverbnation. So to make a long story short i had to upload, delete and upload again until i felt satisfied with the sound. It's a pain in the ass to say the least. Well, i am leaving what was last uploaded as my final demo's. I had to do this process with most of the last group of tunes i recorded. You know, if you look at my bio i stated that i would rather prefer to write and play and let someone else do the recording and mixing. I am half deaf in one ear and i tell ya what, mixing to me is the hardest part of this whole process and with my little handicap it becomes an even harder task than it would be even under normal glitch free circumstances. Thanks for your patients and i hope to now have a clear understanding of my "new" recorder mixer and now can work more smoothly around the glitches. Peace Eddie C.
I feel like a real jackass. It seems my mixer-recorder is not really messed up after all. I noticed on my last tune Puppet that even though i could not hear the right side with headphones the balance showed that there was sound on the right side. So i mastered Puppet teasing the sound putting the lead on one side and leaning the bass a little to the right. Well, to make a long story short, i re-recorded an old song i previously done with just acoustics and did it with all electric and panned all instruments leaving just the vocals centered and instead of using headphones i hooked up the recorder to my P.A. to do the master mix. Man, does this song sound great. It only took me a little over two hours to get the darn thing down. As i said, i previously recorded this tune and have been playing it quite often in my sets. It's one of the first tunes i wrote when i got back into the music scene a couple years ago. It is called "Get Back Tomorrow" and the original version is in my lineup towards the bottom. I am now going to upload the new and improved version. Peace Eddie C.
Here is a brand new one i put together over the last day and a half. Ya gotta check this one out. I think it's the best iv'e done in a while. Peace Eddie C.
I wrote and recorded the new tune i posted titled "You Know I'm Crazy" over a year ago and was going to re-record it in a faster version with leads. But that will come later. As a demo it's good enough to put out now as i should have done like i originally intended. Peace Eddie C. https://www.facebook.com/TheEddiedog/app_2405167945
The last three tunes i put together are pretty cool but after reflection i think i may have rushed them through. I took a long break after the the little band thing in the Summer and was itching to get some new stuff done. Also, the darn mixer takin a dump on me was, and still is, quite frustrating. But i have a tune that is pretty cool i'm gonna get done over the next few days that i'm dyin to get out there. I had a version of this song that got lost and re-recorded it but in a slower and much too tame way. So i am gonna go back, Jack, do it again, 'cause the wheels are a spinnin round. Then a couple really cool Rock n Roll ballads will follow. I just wanna say to all of you who liked my fbmusic page , thank you very much, i really, REALLY, appreciate your support. If anyone who reads this wants to like my fb page i will gladly return the favor.

I stayed up until five thirty in the morning laying down the guitar and bass tracks for my next tune. It is gonna be a good one kids, i'm tellin ya. I found a way to work through the glitches in my recorder-mixer and i'm getting a much clearer sound than i did on my last two ventures since my recorder started messin up on me. All i gotta do now is lay down the vocals and a few riffs, and i'm thinkin a little mandolin won't hurt. It is a very cool tune and i think you guys are gonna love it. It should be done as soon as tomorrow morning or Saturday at the latest. I wanna make sure this one comes out as good as it possibly can. But if i get lucky and go on a roll it may even be finished tonight.

I re-recorded a new lead after the third verse in my new tune "What Are Ya Lookin For" as the doubled up guitar lead i originally had in place was a little too busy and kinda messy. The lead now in place is i think way more suitable.
NOTE: I am not really a lead guitarist but i do pretty well under the circumstances.
