LINE- UP CHANGES & LIKE FOR THE ELECTRIC SUNKINGS

ANNOUNCEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT Many people are aware that Kobie Brown left the band in August but now wish to announce that James ‘Jimmy’ Hughes has left the band as well.

The management and the remaining members, Chris Barbetti and John Finch, wish to acknowledge the contribution that James made to the band over the last two years. He provided the drive behind the band with his style of playing and added diversity with his ability to shift to keys when the need arose.

James has some projects on the go and everyone wishes him success. Everyone can now move forward in their own directions.

With Kobes and James out of the band a rethink was needed to move the band forward. Did the band go with replacing guitar with like or trying something different? Some experimentation was done and decison was reached to go with guitar, bass, keys and drums line-up. But need people to fill these spots.

Therefore, the band and management wish to announce that Sean Bellingham ( Keys) and Dylan Jones ( ex-Girl Vs Ghost, current Kaamora drummer) have been added to the lineup.

X-Poz-Ing Music Award for June

Talk about a surprise for The Electric SunKings, a wee band of post-classic rock maniacs from sleepy Regional City of Ballarat.

Poze Productions/Poze Records Inc have award the band the June Award for Best Live Performance Video - Rock for a simply shot iPhone vid of their performance of Joobe at Newmarket Hotel in Bendigo, Victoria.

For a wee band based in a country city at the bottom of the world - let's be honest about geograhic location - to have a Poze Productions from Chicago, USA acknowledge their work is a tremendous boost to their confidence. Like many artists the lads from the band wonder whether others will appreciate their twist on classic rock inspired music.

Hopefully, this is just another small step to finding a bigger audience for their music.

Debut of New Song "Jube'

The band has posted another Chief Steadycam vid which highlights the a brand new song 'Jube'. The song was debut at The Ararat Hotel, in Ararat, Victoria on 26 April.

Hope you enjoy this sneak preview. This song is destined for the recording studio and probably music vid.

Have a good one,

Cheers n peace The Electric SunKings
