The pure JOY of music

I have always loved music! There is just something about it; how notes and beats and sounds can make one so free and so HAPPY! (or sad, or mad, or inquisitve, or daring, and the list goes on and on....) I haven't met anyone, yet, that doesn't like music.....maybe people that don't like certain TYPES of music, but music in general? Nope. I think it's because God gave each and everyone of us that inner desire for this easy and enjoyable way to "connect." This "connection" helps us all FEEL and "tune into" love, loss, fun, and most importantly Him! (another word for music = praise!) I want to create art! Whatever comes out on that sheet of notebook paper during my brainstorm, that's good and righteous, comes from God anyways, so to me, I don't care about the genre I write in or the "label" of the music....as long as it is ultimately bringing glory to God and happiness to His people then I know that I have used my talents for His good and for the simplicity of joy! :)

So.…....I’'m in the season of waiting …striving to be patient. I don’t want to force it because I want it to be on paper…. I want what God wants, and so therefore I will wait for as long as possible. I am confident in who He made me to be and I will trust instead of try so hard when it comes to writing and when it comes to life, in general! I'’m looking forward to what God has in store for 2012…....all the new experiences and lessons to learn…--maybe with new songs, maybe with just new directions, but either way, I will be thankful for whatever He chooses to reveal to me!! "“When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. And when life is bitter, say thank you and grow."” [Shauna Niequiest, “Bittersweet--another book I highly recommend!! lol!”]

Hope everyone has an awesome, soul soaring, joy-filling, life learning year, full of God’'s amazing grace and love in your lives!!

Yesssss!!! It's so amazing to see someone who not only listens to, but feels music the way that it deserves to be! <3 -Ty
