DJ JONNEY MILES BIO
Jonathan Gerlach, known professionally as DJ Jonney Miles is one of Los Angeles top upcoming DJs amongst the air waves, club scene and Mixtape Scene. Music is what motivates him and the crowd is what keeps him spinning. He is currently Doing Mixtapes for Coast 2 Coast Mixtape DJS and mixing on the High Deserts Radio Station 100.9 The Heat .
Jonney Miles was born in the La County area and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Jonney Miles got his first set of turntables at the age of 13 and started his hobby with a school friend, recording themselves scratching and recording themselves on a tape deck to listen to himself in the car. Later his friends mom sold the turntables and the DJing was put on hold till he was introduced to the party scene in 2004.
"The very first time i deejayed at a party i knew from that moment i wanted to become a professional DJ and do something i loved to do". He re-discovered the love for mixing at the age of 18 when he was introduced to the Party Scene. From that day forward the fire in Jonney Miles was lit and has yet to be extinguished. Jonney Miles began DJing at local private parties and knew this is what he wanted to do, keep the crowd dancing and moving with his music and mixes. As time passed he began DJing as a hobby eventually became one of the best DJs in the San Fernando Valley.
The name Jonney Miles began to quickly spread throughout the Party scene and in no time was mixing at clubs . At this point, he realized that he wanted to take DJing to the next level and pursue it as his career and main goal in life.
As one of the top Up Coming DJs, radio mixer and music producer, Jonney Miles continues to hone his craft and grow as an artist. His love for music has taken him many directions and he will continue his journey till he reaches his goal as a world class DJ.
Currently he mixes live on the high deserts #1 Radio Station 100.9 The Heat. You Can Catch him in the mix Fridays @11-12am, and Saturdays @10-12am. Live in the mix!
