Well it's about that time... last year I was approached by the producers from the hit show Ruby, on The Style Network. To my shock and amazement they asked if they could license my music for the network, to which we replied YES of course!
I had an amazing time filming with them in Los Angeles in 2010...
I got to film with the Style Network and watch some of the most gorgeous amazing models walk in a fashion show to MY MUSIC! Ahhh... it was such a special moment! Not only was my mom there to see it, but one of my closest friends was there. She and I met 4 years ago when I was training models how to walk and she was a model walking in a fashion show in the midwest.... NOW we were two very accomplished young women back in a similar setting on a much grander scale! She is now a successful model and actress in L.A. and she was walking to my music in both segments of the show... it was a beautiful and surreal moment!
The only low-light of the evening was that my best friend (and manager) couldn't be there! She works so hard for me and my career and the businesses that we run together... it was a bitter sweet moment that so much was being accomplished without her there to enjoy it!
I wore my killer teal Bebe 6" stiletto heels and my signature black dress... got an amazing opportunity to shoot over and over again on the red-carpet for the media and then for the sponsors of the network!
So the evening was a wonderful success and I can't wait to have a viewing party when the episode airs on April 10th, 2011 on THE STYLE NETWORK! Won't you join me????
