Take Back / Blog

Long time, no see.

We really don't post a whole lot on here, and considering it's been almost a year since the last one, we figured it's time for an update. A little over two months ago, our bassist, Hunter, decided to leave the band to pursue other interests, and we wish him the best of luck. Things have kind of been put on hold for us since then. We have been looking for a permanent replacement at bassist, but the search has been mostly futile. We have, however, been able to find a fill-in for some upcoming shows, and that is Danny Blomgren of Welfare Queens fame (https://www.facebook.com/WelfareQueens). We have at least three potential shows coming up, and we'll update you as we get info, so keep a look out. In regards to our EP, it is still upcoming. Recording has been done, but we still need to work on some things. We also have some new ideas for merch and recordings that we'll be looking to throw at you sometime soon. We have been kind of invisible for a while, but we're coming back.

The haps 'n' whatnot.

So, in case you have not heard, and you happen to be reading this, we have recently signed to the indie label Home Front Records based here in Yakima, WA. We're gonna record our first EP under the label in the next few months, get some shirts out pretty soon, and plan to go out on tour during the summer. Until then, we'll be hitting up the local scene like crazy. If you ever see us around, make sure to come out and support. Here's looking to making 2013 a breakout year.

First Blog, Yo.

So, this is our first blogarino, and we're just gonna update y'all on what's going on in the world of Take Back. As of this exact moment in time, we have a new Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus account that are all going to be linked here soon, so go there and peep on the goods. We have dropped out of the show on the 3rd of this month at "The Garage", but we do have show on the 15th of November at the Red Room in Tri-Cities. Come on over and let's hang out. Pretty soon we should start recording, so we're gonna have new tracks for the first time in a couple years, and then we're gonna get some merch together. Get ready to go crazy and be buying our stuff n shiit. And apparently we're doing No-Shave November according to Hunto. So yeah, some sick shit. I'm bad at this so I'm leaving now. -Jon
