We had a blast last night playing for a packed dance floor @ Sal's Productions Annual Turkey 2-Step! And getting to sing "Cryin' Time" with guest fiddler & singer extraordinaire Dennis Stroughmatt? Priceless!! Special thanks to tele titan Frankie Blandino for handlin' the guitar chair with his usual wry wit & aplomb :)
We had a blast tonight @ the 1794 Meetinghouse! What a great venue to hear live music - terrific sound!
Big fun in June at Vincent's in Worcester and at Bishop's Castle in Exeter RI. Loved seeing all the dancers whooping it up! We keep adding new songs to our repertoire, so you never know whatcha gonna hear! Summer is all about live music - can't wait for July!!
We had a great time again at Vincent's in Worcester last Friday. We were pumped to be back and play a bunch of newer songs, including "Hangover Boogie", "Dadgumit" & Fallin'! Woohoo! Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us have a party! See ya back @ Vincent's on 6/26!
We started December with a TWANG at Vincent's last night and had a blast with candy canes, Santa hats and plenty of holiday cheer. Thanks to everyone for comin' out and making it a party! Come on out next Sunday (12/9) when we shake our tinsel with the Sweetback Sisters at the Iron Horse in Northampton MA in their annual Country Christmas Singalong Spectacular!
It was a hoppin' night at Vincent's Bar in Worcester last night! We busted out a few new ones and had a blast...especially on the organ :)! Thanks to everyone who came out, listened, dance, drank and hollered. WOO!
We had 3 gigs last week and jokingly called it our MASS pike "tour". Weds night at Vincent's was another fun romp- thanks to everyone that came out! We try to do a few new tunes every time we play and as usual, I had another Skeets McDonald song and an original to add to the mix. The surprise of the night was a version of "Honky Tonk Women" which was completely spontaneous - we shook the shack with that one! Friday we played on the Worcester Common for the "Out to Lunch" concert series - hot music to go with hot temps. We had a blast! Then we roared farther east for a night of hot tamales n twang @ Cantina La Mexicana in Somerville. Muy bueno. By the end of the night, we were ready to play MORE and joked that we should just go to some bar, unload, say "we're here" and start playing. We resisted the urge...
A great night at Vincent's Bar in Worcester!! We're usually there on a Weds., but this time it was a Friday and it was a kick to meet new folks and introduce them to our sounds! Special thanks to Frank at the bar!
HOT music up in Pittsfield MA at their Third Thursday celebration! We had special guest, Bobby Sweet (Arlo Guthrie; B Sweet Band) on tele and vocals and we definitely brought some old school country to the city! They were dancin'in in the streets! Special thanks to Day Mountain Sound for a fantastic job and all the volunteers who make the event so much fun.
It was quite a weekend for the Busters! Under the banner of "Wine, Women & Song", we huffed and puffed and blew the Brick House down... or something like that! Friday night, the Sarah Levecque Duo featuring our own Dr. Z, performed their soul-satisfying country blues and originals and never sounded better. Yers truly joined on a few numbers! Then Sat. , the Busters busted it out, and Sarah L. joined us for a few in the second set. ROCK! This was our first time at the Brick House and we loved it. GREAT food (homemade mozzarella!), GREAT folks and FANTASTIC sound (thank you, Stitch!) We even had a few dancers out on the hardwood. They want us back, so stay tuned for when we can make that happen! Mizz Paula
