What a year it's been, friends!
Hopefully we can let you know what we're up to each month from here on out, as we try to connect with you guys a little more.
So far this year, we've gotten a new singer(yours truly), a new rhythm guitar player(Brett Baker of our old project, The Jupiter Tide), played with bands like Kelen Heller, Adelita's Way, New Medicine, Fit for Rivals, Blameshift(hot off the Warped Tour, I might add), Tantric, Relapse Symphony, Dead Rabbitts, put out a few videos, two new singles......whew! And that was in only six months! And it's only getting better...we're planning several headlining shows throughout the rest of the year, and trying to reach some new friends in our regional area outside North Carolina(we're looking at you, Georgia/Virginia/Tennessee!). We'll also be hitting some other local shows around the Charlotte area to support our other friends in bands, and working on several promo efforts to get more people out to the shows. Possibly even some video blogs to show you guys what the crew is up to behind the scenes.
We're writing new songs, as well.....that MIGHT be out...sooner than you think. Who knows! Do you REALLY want some new material from us? Let us know....
We've made some great friends so far this year, and we wanna keep this momentum going! So if you've seen us at a show and want us to come back, let us know! Like, comment, and share to get the word out so we can see you again! Get your friends to sign up for this newsletter so we can keep everybody up to speed on what's going on!
And as always, if you can't say something nice, say SOMETHING CLEVER
See you around.

Fans,
I have decided to step down from being in Something Clever due to personal reasons. I love these guys and girl and I've had a great time with them and have played some killer shows and made some memories.i am on good terms with the band. We are still very good best friends.I will still be apart of Something Clever. I'll help book shows, and run the merch booth every now and then. I'll still be here and supporting them.
My last Charlotte show is April 27th at the Saloon.
My last show with the band will be in Wilmington opening for Puddle of Mudd on May 16th.
Something Clever will now be holding auditions for rhythm guitarist. You need to be committed, experienced, and have motivation. Email Something Clever at info@somethingcleverband.com or message them through Facebook.
There are a lot of new things coming up that Something Clever is doing. So be on the look out.
Thank you so much for the support throughout the years. I'm proud of what we have done and how far I have gotten with Something Clever. It's hard leaving and I want nothing but the best for them. I better see killer shows and killer fans.
Cheers,
Chris.
