Crawley is in the process of writing a second album. The first album, "High and Low", was written about my past and focused more on life's tougher times, and what we learn from them. The new album will focus on the now, and the future!! How we overcome these obstacles, and press forward! We are going to take this album a little slower, and release the songs one at a time. This way will alleviate unwanted stress, and keep it fun....as it should be. It will also give our Engineer/Producer more time to obsess properly, and make this something even more special. I learned so much from Chuck, Bill, and Mike on the first album!!! I can't wait to see what I'll learn this time!!! Thank you all so much for all of your support and help this past year!! We appreciate you all more than you know!! \m/(-_-)\m/
I've been doing a lot of networking with other Indie musicians, and I have found this to be invaluable!!! The best way to succeed in this industry is to help yourself, by helping others!!! I'm in the process of trying to promote and market, which at times, becomes tireless!! Along the way, I've stumbled across an collaboration project, that includes: Dan and Justin from "Dandy Lion" (Cwmbran, Wales), Dan Macdonald from "Morbid North" (Simcoe, On, Canada), Gary Ramsey (Kings Mountain, NC), and myself (Louisville, Ky). It's just one song, but it shows you how things have changed!!! This song is going to be awesome, and the musicians will have never met!!! lol The future is now, and I'm a part of it!!! Live long, and prosper....Crawley
Three more days, and it's off to Milwaukee to do my video interview with Kellie Levans (Rocking Fun Music).
Crawley is going to be reviewed and featured in Strutter magazine, in the Netherlands. I'm also making a trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to do a video interview with Kellie Levans. Kellie owns an independent label called "Rocking Fun Music". I'm in the process of setting up a cd release show for the spring, probably sometime in March 2012. We're looking forward to bigger things, and appreciate everyones support. Thanks, Crawley
CRAWLEY on the radio!!! Tonight between 7 and 730pm on Louisvile rocks at 93.1 the Fox. Check out the interview with Mudd and tell us what you think about our new song "Maybe" off our new album titled "High and Low".
The cd is for sale, and download on cd baby.com http://cdbaby.com/cd/crawley1. Or you can just google search Crawley cd baby, and there I am!!! Ha ha, it's a little surreal actually. I hope you all enjoy it, it only took me 37 yrs to get here!!!
Well, we're up to number 7 on the charts, and we haven't even done a show yet!! The first round of CD's should be here in a couple days. I've decided I'm gonna re-do the album cover, with the assistance of a local tattoo artist (Izzi Echo), for the next round. I'm also in the brain storming stage of putting together the next video for the track "Maybe". I'm ready to start promotions, and marketing, and just waiting for the music to go active on all the distribution sites...i.e Cd Baby, Itunes, amazon, rhapsody etc... Once again, thank you all for your support...Crawley
Well, it's been eight months of writing, recording, mixing, mastering, and a lot of beers!! I want to thank Bill Goins (Freedom and Whiskey), for all the great bass tracks, backing vocals, and for all the countless hours he's put in writing, recording, and producing this album. I want to thank Mike Huettig (Freedom and Whiskey, & Days of the New), for hammering out some killer drums, harmony vocals, keys, guitar, and for being Bill's right hand man! I want to thank Chuck Mingis (Freedom and Whiskey, Days of the New, Eden Street, Spanky Lee), for laying down some wicked guitar, and basically writing all the music for this album. Most of all I want to thank you, the fans, for all your support. The Cd will be for sale on Cd Baby, and available to dowonload on Itunes, within a couple of weeks. Anyway, thanks again for helping us get to number 9 on the charts, and don't forget...Crawley is creeping!!!!!
We have one more song to finish, and that'll be 11. My lucky number!! We're gonna finish up some mixing and mastering and the LP will be complete. I've never been more proud. The musicians I've worked with on this album are phenominal!! I've never seen people able to pump out so many songs in such a short amount of time. It's been quite the learning experience. Thanks again for everyones support!!
Another week of writing and trying to market a product that isn't there yet!! lol You can't rush perfection can you? It all has to fall into place, and when it does... it's all over!! Then you realize that no matter how hard you try, it can always be better! Music is an obsession!!!!
