Tennessee Jed / Blog

March 4, 2013

This just in! Tennessee Jed relocates to Burlington, VT! From the mountains of Asheville, NC to the beaches of South Florida, then nearly all the way to Canada, Jed's journey over the past year has been eventful, to say the least. Having been on semi-hiatus for about 8 months, he is ready to get back to work. Burlington seemed like a perfect setting to begin this phase of his career. Within days of his arrival, Jed sat in with his Greensboro, NC buddies, The Mantras, at world-famous Nectar's, singing the Steely Dan classic, "Do It Again.

TN Jed would like to congratulate good friends and collaborators, Charles Humphrey III and Nicky Sanders on their recent Grammy win for Best Bluegrass Album, Nobody Knows You. No one deserves it more.

Jed would also like to thank John Heintz of Getdown Entertainment for garnering placement of TN Jed music in the hit A&E reality series, Duck Dynasty! Be sure to check out John's main project, the Big Ol' Nasty Getdown, feat. George Clinton and members of P-Funk, as well as a host of other big names from the New Orleans and Asheville funk/jam scene. Recording just began for Vol. II!

New ReverbNation Blog for Tennessee Jed (1/17/11)

Hey, everybody. This is my first blog for Tennessee Jed. I'll keep it short, but I wanted to touch base with all my friends and fans. The new band is kicking: Joseph Scott on mando, Owen Tharp on upright bass, Lee Kram on drums, and Caleb Hensley on electric and acoustic guitar. We're gearing up for the festival season and hope to see everyone on the road. Pick up your copy of Barn Burner at a show near you! Thanks for all of your support. TN Jed
