'Listen People' is now live on iTunes! This song has a positive message.... It is guaranteed to make you feel better! : )
Hi everyone, It has been awhile. I had a couple of medical complications for all of August and September, but in spite of it all I released both the Listen People and Boring Remix tracks to iTunes. I am recovering well, and I soon hope to finish my new CD. Yes, I'm changing the title of the CD one more time to 'Listen People'. If you get a chance, listen to the song. Sean Walker did an amazing job of producing/engineering it, and shout out to the awesome musicians who played on it with me: Dennis Rhodes (awesome sax solo and background vocals!), Eric, Darren, Matt, and Jason. Thank you for helping me make a beautiful new song! Thank you to Teal Douville for the amazing remixes of the 'Boring Remix' and the 'I Like You Remix'! Have a nice day!
Hi everyone, it has been a few weeks since I've been on Reverbnation. I was physically recovering from a severe allergic reaction. I lived, and I'm almost back to my normal energy level. I have started a fundraiser for my new (sixth) CD called 'A Girl Behind the Mask'. Every $1 helps - thank you ! http://www.gofundme.com/Helping-Laurie-Create
Thank you 'all' for your kind support. : ) I will be recording a new song this week, and I plan on posting it next week. I'm looking forward to playing an original gig this Saturday - Jan. 19th. I'll be opening for TerraNova's CD release party. After having played 2 -3,000 gigs (at least - it adds up 6 - 7 nights a week, year after year playing bass backing over 100 different bands) I am happy to get back to focusing on my original music again. Have a Nice Day! : )
Hi everyone, I found out last night that my original song, 'Give Up Me', placed as a Semi-Finalist in the Song of the Year contest: http://songwriter.songoftheyear.com/songwriting-contest/lauriemiller.htm Thank you for listening and your support! Laurie
