poem: Fade Away

As I drink to numb the pain of the mistakes I have made and have taken in vain the messages you have painted, that I refused to retain looking through the window, I see you in the rain that ghostly silhouette, that drives me insane I scream to you to try to explain but the wind, so loud, you can not hear your name you turn around and fade away this never ending scene that pierces my brain as it plays to me, frame by frame only to grab the bottle to wash it back where it came I drift away in a puddle of shame to never wake up, for only I am to blame of my tortured soul, the angels will refrain that you and I are lost forever and this will remain.
