Wolftit / Blog
To anyone who cares...
I started recording songs for the fourth album, but I've had other ideas... All that means that the next Wolftit release will not be available before summer this year ,as I'm working on a double album. First disc will consist of re-recorded versions of my favourite old songs, the second will contain brand spanking new creations. For the time being, my old albums will not be available in the shops temporarily, due to a surprise that I'm cooking right now. You can still listen to the rest of the tracks on Reverbnation (http://www.reverbnation.com/wolftit) or Last.fm (http://www.last.fm/music/Wolftit). Thank you for support and stay tuned!
New Year,new songs, new project.
Happy New Year everybody! It's been quiet for a while, but it's only calm before the storm. I've been busy recording music for my new metal project Decade Of Hell (http://www.reverbnation.com/decadeofhell) and also started working on fourth Wolftit album. As a teaser, here are uploads of 2 new re-recorded versions of songs from my first album, namely "The Passage" and "String Theory". Check them out and don't forget about Decade Of Hell ( not for faint-hearted!)
Thanx for support and keep in touch!
WOLFTIT 3: "THE ART OF BUILDING" is here!
The third solo album of the Silesian-born guitar player Matt "Wolftit" Pielorz continues in a similar vein to his previous albums (released in 2010 "The Man From St. Petersburg , FL" and 2011’s "Hear ,hear"). The songs are mostly instrumental , except for tongue-in-cheek , garage-influenced "Want More Toblerone!" and old time bluesy bonus track "Cry To Mama". The music itself shifts between classic rock ("PawCast '80" and "Security Inspected") , alternative rock ("Charlie" and "Winter Dream"),blues ("Cry To Mama" and "Giynol Blues") and many different genres, but somehow is glued together by the unmistakable guitar style. The song "Mr. Guitar" is a tribute to legendary Chet Atkins' pioneering guitar licks and his enormous influence on guitar playing as we know it today. "The Art Of Building" has been recorded along the Eastern Seaboard of the United States ,between Stuart (Florida),Warwick (New York) and Boston (Massachusetts). The artwork was provided (as in case of "Hear ,hear" album and "PawCast'80" single) by a personal friend and a very talented artist Elizabeth Ann Wright (http://www.facebook.com/lizustrations) from London, UK. For more music, photos and news go to: http://www.reverbnation.com/wolftit and http://www.myspace.com/wolftitacoustic THIS ALBUM AND THE SONG "MICK K." IS DEDICATED TO MY FRIEND MICK KANNENBERG , WHO LOST HIS FIGHT AGAINST CANCER IN JANUARY 2012 .REST IN PEACE, MICKY!
