Well, it's hard to say whether or not that was Superfrog's best show ever. It's a fairly subjective observation and any one person might have another show in mind, but to make a sweeping generalization, the band played like the rent was due tomorrow and the crowd loved it. Nate turned on the charm, quipping with amusing personal details about the songs and dancing with the crowd while still playing the bass. Wendy singlehandedly brought 30 people to the dance floor and proved, judging by her wildly vacillating hips, that she might in fact be double jointed. Shane and Andy were, as usual, better than any drummer or guitarist should be. And Tony, he just does something to Superfrog. That they like. Oh, did we mention the conga line?

Hey all, Nate here
So just wanted to let everyone know what's goin on in Frogtown lately. First off as you've read we've had some real great shows these last few weeks, capping it all off with an amazing time at Bourbon's in Portsmouth last night. I want to thank all the fans who've been comming out, it's you guys who make this worth doing. We've been traveling from Portland to Newburyport and everywhere in between and we're really excited to hit up the Boston area with our friends The Klapp later this month.
In other news, Superfrog has just signed a booking deal with Phlume management, in a short amount of time this will most likely end up being a full management contract. With that said I have no reservations about introducing the newest member to the frog fam and our soon to be manager Chad. With him on board, expect to see a huge spike in shows. We'll be traveling even farther from home (Burlington here we come!) and making new friends. Speaking of new friends and new family, if you haven't noticed, The Frog's newest musical member is Tony the trumpet master. We're lovin' what he adds to the band and from what we've seen so do you guys! On this same note, we're still on the lookout for a keys player and an aux percussionist, so if you are one or know one, pass it on or get back to us!
So I'll try and wrap this up as it's getting long. Keep your eyes and ears open for the upcomming album Year of the Frog! Hopefully some of you got the teaser demo over the last few weeks or heard it on the myspace (otherwise you wouldn't be reading this haha). With so much going on, we're still pushing full steam ahead with Aaron Katz to get this baby done all shiny and special just for you! Well I'm outta here for now. See ya all at the next show!
