Abhor Performance / Blog

My how the times have flown

It's been a year and a half since Abhor Performance formed, and we've met so many people and made so many sounds. We were extremely dissatisfied with our EP, as many of our fans were as well. Poor qaulity, little time, and little effort led to the disaster. So we've decided to re-record/re-mix and eventually actually master the new version (the original wasn't hardly mixed, let alone mastered). We're also working on new music that's been itching to be played for a while now. We're hoping that someday within the next year or so that we'll get t-shirts made, the re-done EP out, and many more shows played! Until then,

Peace, Love and Music- Abhor Performance

Work Work Work!

Hey guys! So we've played a few shows and started a (very loyal!) following, and written and played more music than we can seem to keep track of. We have a couple of shows coming up, one being a house show with our friend's Sour Apple Surgery, and then we're playing a battle show up at Yahweh Underground. Feel free to check out our event pages for info on both. We've also got a new rhythm guitarist, Benji, since Lyndsey is no longer a part of Abhor Performance. You'll probably see him around and about. We're also going to be taking a break from doing shows for a while to work on our EP! We don't have too much info that we can release as of right now on it, but just know that it'll be the best thing we've put out yet! We hope to have it out within the next year or so (we're perfectionists, so sorry if we make you wait a bit)and hopefully more fun stuff with it! That's all for now!

Getting things on the roll

Hey guys, Vaness here! We have a lot coming up within the next couple of months. We have a few shows coming up, just check our event page to check them out! We're also working on recording right now, but the ever gracious recorder and mixer is getting married in May, so a lot of things are put on hold indefinitely. I personally wouldn't want to work with anyone else, so we're prepared to wait. We're working on our demo, which we've decided officially is going to be called 'The Apprentice' since it's going to be our first official release of any kind of recording besides a couple of videos on youtube. We appreciate all the support and love we get from our friends, families, and friends.
