Yep, you read right, we’re gonna be putting on a show for St. Michael’s Church for their annual summer festival...but don’t let it fool you, just because it’s a place a worship doesn’t mean we can’t ROCK OUT to some good tunes! And hey, come early and check out the annual Old Town Art Fair that will also be going on...look at some pretty art, listen to some awesome music...oh, and did we mention help raise money for a good cause?! I think we’ve proven our point.

JUNE 22-SWEDISH DAYS IN GENEVA (www.genevachamber.com/swedishdays.html) 7:30pm Map: Just 45 minutes from Downtown Chicago, Geneva is nestled along the banks of the Fox River, between Batavia to the south and St. Charles to the north. Geneva is linked to Chicago and surrounding suburbs via a network of expressways, highways and railways. We dont really have a lot to say about this festival except that its awesome. Geneva is just great in general. Go there. JUNE 23-CD AND ME Frankfort, IL.(www.cdandme.com) 8pm Map: 23320 South LaGrange Road Frankfort, IL 60423-7915 (815) 469-7315 CD and Me is an interesting place. Its this sort of cool outdoor gazebo, waterfall, fire pit, fireplace having Thursday night summer only concert sort of venue. They have hamburgers too, to be honest. Yea, we are aware of the problems with that sentence. Dont worry about it. We play at CD and Me two times a year; once in June and once in August. Thats it! Two times a year. The first show on June 23 is the first one, and you should go to commemorate our first CD and Me show of the year. The second one is August 18, and you should go to that one and lament that its our last performance until next summer. Its like salt and pepper shakers. I mean, who has just a pepper shaker? Freakin nobody. June 24-Uncle Fatty’s (www.unclefatty.com)9pm Map:2833 North Sheffield Avenue Chicago, IL 60657 Jingle bells, jingle bells...Alright fine, so none of us are really anticipating the cold winter and stressful holiday season, but come ON, it’s halfway Christmas so why not use it as an excuse to party?! Come out and show us your holiday cheer and celebrate the halfway mark to the most wonderful time of the year during the BEST time of the year in Chicago...Summer! June 25- Bike MS (Private Show) Dekalb, IL. June 26- Chicago Summerfest (www.StarEvents.com)4-6pm Map: Clark and Armitage in Chicago, IL. Chicago Summerfest is located just off of Lake Michigan in the heart of Lincoln Park. This two-day summer festival features live music, an upscale art show, great food and drink and a family area for the kids.

May 6, Copper Dragon final show of the semester (http://www.pinchpennypub.com/pages/copperDragon.php), 11pm, Carbondale, IL MAP: Ok guys. We have a new project. Its a bit of an experiment actually. For all of our Copper Dragon shows from now on, we want you to bring a video camera and take at least one video at the Mike and Joe show. You can video the band, video yourself, video your friends. Whatever. Just take a video. Try to keep it under 4 minutes, or about the length of one song. Then we want you to post that video onto our mikeandjoerocksiu YouTube Channel. To do that, go to the YouTube login page. Username-mikeandjoerocksiu, Password-rockout! and upload your video. Lets give it a shot and see what you guys come up with. This is our last show for the semester so lets make it happen!
May 7, Private event If we told you we would have to kill you. Nah, we would just sneak you in the back door and give you free drinks. Ok we'll give you a hint, and if you can find us we will let you in. Where would a raven and a dry cleaner meet for dinner?
