Sometimes I Find It Hard

Sep 26th, 6:16pm Dear Mr. Davis, I am working with a local church in Nashville creating a single parent support network. This is a place where moms can come and receive love and support without judgement and unconditionally. The mothers are met where they are at in this journey, not according to an imposed program where they check the boxes. This is about long term solutions and support as they go through the path to get out of poverty. This is located in a section of Nashville that is 89% homes of single mothers in poverty. The program is about strengthening the internal components (spirituality and emotions) and the external components (education and employment) to end poverty not just for the mothers but also for their children. I heard your song Sometimes I Find It Hard and it is right on point. I am hoping that you would be ok if I were to use it as we spread the message that they are not alone in this struggle even though sometimes it feels like it. Please let me know. Thank you for your time. Denice P. O'Neil

Together We

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." - Helen Keller

THIS TOO, SHALL PAST

"It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: 'And this, too, shall pass away.'" ~ Abraham Lincoln

Open Your Eyes

While traveling the path of life, and finding love along the way, everything looks new and different. Little do you know it is the same old landscape you used to see all of the time; Love has just given you new eyes. Open your eyes and see love daily. Unknown

Standing Your Ground

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy!" ~Martin Luther King, Jr.~

On Positive Thoughts

“Get going. Move forward. Aim High. Plan a takeoff. Don't just sit on the runway and hope someone will come along and push the airplane. It simply won't happen. Change your attitude and gain some altitude. Believe me, you'll love it up here.” http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jim-Davis/200027160015515?sk=app_2405167945

Self Motivation!

Thought for the Day “The first to apologize is the bravest, the first to forgive is the strongest, and the first to forget is the happiest.” Learn to encourage yourself. “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel30:6 KJV

Don't stop!

Point of View

Thanks for the connect. Impressive profile you have. Thought: "It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you do that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about." Philippians 4:8. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jim-Davis-Music/200027160015515
