David Murry RIP

We just wanted to tell all of our fans to give Vile Child your support. Our friend, David Murry was murdered a few weeks back and everyone is still grieving from this loss. David was one of the best drummers we've ever heard and one of the nicest guys we've ever known. Vile Child has been a huge supporter of ours, and their music is amazing - they're probably the best band in Las Vegas. And their loss is a loss for everybody. Make sure you swing by their reverbernation page and support their music. www.reverbnation.com/vilechild. In separate news, we have Trav Ressler back as lead singer and have welcomed Josh Williams into our band as our new bassist. And you can look forward to some new tunes and shows. We may even play a tribute show for our friend Dave Murry. Thanks so much for your support over the years. We apologize to all of our fans for our long era of inactivity, and urge all of our fans to pray for Dave's family and friends.

We're still here!

We know we have been very quiet as of late. But we are still together and have been quietly working on new material. We haven't played many shows lately, and we know we haven't been updating as often as we used to. So we just wanted to let all of our fans know that we are still working hard and haven't gone anywhere. Addiction Switch is here to stay.

We would also like to get some more fan input on our music and the direction we're moving. Our music has changed a lot over the past two years, and now our drummer has become the major driving force behind our music. We hope to get some new live tracks up soon, but in the meanwhile you can listen to Blood Rain to catch a glimpse of our new sound. Drop us a line, leave a comment, and let us know what you think.

The times are a changing.

We would like to officially announce the departure of our lead singer, Trav Ressler. Trav is a great guy with a big heart and an incredible voice. His departure was completely unexpected and is a shock to us all. According to him, he has left to begin a music project of his own do to his own personal reasons.

We would like to wish him the best in all of his future endeavors and would like all of our fans to place him in your prayers. You will be missed by both us and your fans. We wish you success and the absolute best of luck.

Help us fight SOPA

We need all of our fans' support to fight the treasonous "anti-piracy" bill. This bill does absolutely nothing to fight piracy, but will make it illegal to stream anything - including your favorite music from Addiction Switch. This legislation will seriously hurt local music and will criminalize listening to unsigned music online. Write your congressman today and tell him not to vote for this bill.

Fans make the music

We just want to thank every single one of you who have supported us. You're the only reason this band is still together. It was our fans that got us through the hard times, and we are here for you.

The death of a nation

This country is on a downward spiral. Nothing can save it. Nothing, except for holding those accountable who caused the mess we're in. We need to abolish the Fed, we need to kick out the corporations and abolish the "free trade agreement," which is about as free as an armani suit. Even CNN admits that the only man who can beat Obama is Ron Paul. We all need to support this man. Whether you're republican, democrat, or non-political, the only way to save this country and make this a great nation for your kids to grow up in is to elect Ron Paul. He's the ONLY man in Washington who has never lied or swapped his political stance. He's the ONLY man who keeps his promises, and he's the only man the American people can trust to lead us.

We need more listeners

We really need everybody's help to get our music heard. Unlike most bands, we don't care if you download and share our music. Getting heard is what it's all about, right? All of our music is available for anybody to download for free. We want you to download our music and share it with your friends.

But even more importantly, we need people to listen to us with reverbnation accounts to help us climb the rock charts for our area.

Lastly, even though we support downloading and sharing our music, we need as much monetary support as we can get. We have cds for sale in our Fixers Store here on reverbnation. These cds look amazing, and they are a MUST HAVE for any fan. We're not making much of a profit off them, but every little bit counts. And if you bring one to one of our shows, we'll sign them for you. Please buy a cd and burn copies for all your friends and family.

Newest Addition

Since we never made an official announcement to introduce our new bassist, we want everybody to welcome the newest addition to Addiction Switch, our new bassist, Jeremy Tyler!
