Artists For World Peace

Dirtfloor Recording Studio is hosting a music festival on July 20 to benefit the Connecticut-based nonprofit organization Artists for World Peace at The Meeting House, 4 Liberty Street, Chester. The festival will run from 4-9 p.m. and will feature both indoor and outdoor stages, fine food, crafts, and great works of art. Performers will include Kerri Powers, Ian Fitzgerald, Eric Lichter, Civil Warblers, Hanna Fair, Meadows Brothers, Dan Blakeslee, Silverteeth, Wise Old Moon, Heather Fay, James Maple, and The Grays. Tickets are $20 general admission, $10 for seniors, and $5 for children under 12, and can be purchased at the Meeting House on the day of the festival. Music in the Meadow

Friday June 20, presented by the Connecticut College Arboretum, in conjunction with WCNI, "Music in the Meadow II”\" will be held Friday, June 20, in the Arboretum meadow by the pond. This year’s concert boasts another stellar line-up of original bands from the region: The Meadows Brothers, The 3-Pack and The Rivergods. The ever-popular Munchies food truck will also be on hand. The rain date for the concert is Sunday, June 22.

Homework Club Benefit

Friday June 13th please join us for the 7th annual Homework Club Benefit Concert. The Meadows Brothers perform at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Old Saybrook. All proceeds are donated to this worthwhile cause which benefits underprivileged children in our area. If we raise $1500.00 a $500.00 match will be provided by the ELCA. This has always been a special evening of fine music benefiting a worth cause. Tell your friends and neighbors!

June 5-8 we'll be in Bellow's Falls, VT for this years edition of Roots on the River, hosted by James McMurtry. What a line-up!! This is a premier music festival that should not be missed!! Tuesday May 27, 8pm we'll be the featured performers on "Shoreline Music Monthly" airing on Channel 19 on local comcast stations. If you're out of our range you can stream it live at www.vsctv.com. The show will also be archived on their website so it can be accessed at any time.

Dream Away Lodge

Thursday May 1 sees us playing with Jake Klar at the famous Dream Away Lodge in Becket, Mass., nestled in the Berkshires. Music begins around 8:30pm. Come see some music in a legendary venue where Dylan and Baez among others have played.

Grand Ole Opry Tribute Show

Saturday night March 15th at 8pm, join us at The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center for The Grand Old Opry Tribute Show. Also performing will be Amalgamated Muck, Maggie's Guitar and Carl Suiter, Jr. Tickets are limited!

Nilsson Spring Street Studio

On Sunday March 9, from 4-6pm we'll be at one of our favorite venues, Nilsson Spring Street Studios in Chester, CT., with one of our favorite bands, Wise Old Moon. This will be a guaranteed great musical experience. $10 suggested donation. Please come join us if possible. We're also pleased to announce that we are playing our first ever New York City show at the Postcrypt Coffeehouse on the Columbia University Campus, Friday March 8. Music starts at 8:30 with Zeke Healy and Karen Waltuch followed by Twain (Mat Davidson, formerly of Spirit Family Reunion). It's gonna be a good one!!
