Been a long time since I last posted, I do this for myself more than anything else, but first off. We decided it was in the best interest of both parties that we step away from Horrorscope. I give my gratitude for all they have done for us, but it is time for KPK to go indie. We have alot in the works including a show Nov. 9th in Garnett at the VFW featuring Naydivz, Opium, KJT, Reckless, and first time prefomances from ATM and Cody Bruce. Also first time apperence from Bam Origins who will be hosting the show, with beer and food provided by the VFW. We also have many projects in the works including our second release XXXtra Brewed, marketing oppertunities, merchandising, and many other things. We recently had custom KPK coozie made, which was a long time coming. Currently we are delayed due to recording issue and waiting for our logo to be finalized, and hoping to have shirts with official logo availble some time this December. I'm hoping we will be able to moved forward, also grateful for minimal fallout from leaving Horrorscope. Im hoping we will be able to work together in the future, but the show must go on. Speaking of shows going on, we played a show in Lawrence at Club Magic Sept. 27th with ABK and AMB, the Summer Jams 2 tour. It was promoted by some no name douche bag, that could'nt keep shit straight, We got there before the tour or anybody else did, sold more tickets than anybody else, and they cut our set to 3 fucking songs. All because they could'nt get the sound to work for 2 hours. This is fault by all the people that put the show on, get real or get out. Shit like this spawns bad blood in this industry. I bet everyone is wondering why the hell we reposted all of our blogs. Well I figured it was time to get organized, and chronologically reposted them. Just for all the fucks reading em!! (I know no one reads them) But futhermore, we have alot to catch up on here. First of we have had alot of shows and progress since I last posted, including (hed) p.e at the Granada theater in Lawrence to the release of the "Poisonous" music video (see it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V2UPO86kq0 ). We also have multiple shows and possibly a tour in the next few months, Including: May 9th, Club Magic via Lawrence, Ks w/ Twisted Insane and Leaders of the Lost, May 15th, Jackpot Saloon via Lawrence, Ks W/ KJT and Reckless. June 10th, Czar Bar via KCKC W/ KJT, Rellik, Reckless, +more. ALSO a tour in the works, we will release more info as it becomes available. At the moment though, we are working on our new EP XXXtra-Brewed, featuring old and new tracks, to clear the writing field for our new full length album Manifest Destiny!
