Want to thank everyone for a great summer season! Many of you may already know that our stick man and Ape Tit brain child, Jeff Jani, is moving to the Big Easy. We are stoked for him to be in the midst of the best music in the world! We are certain that he will grow into an even bigger monster on the kit than he already is! We plan to be doing some shows together both in New Orleans as well as Colorado, but in the meantime, we are happy to let you all know that one of Denver's finest drummers, Chadzilla Johnson is going to take over the stick thrown for the band. I've worked with Chadzilla with the Leo Nocentelli band as well as my former band Little Hercules. I've also witnessed him destroy drum kits during Polytoxic shows. We welcome a new chapter in the band's history and pledge to keep the Funk alive! Viva the FUNK!

Royal Peeps producer and song writer, Cristian Basso, has assembled a new funk project based in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, named The Sessh. The preface for starting this new project stemed from an interest in applying new technologies to the live arena as well as keeping the funk alive in the high country and beyond. The strength of their initial performances have solidified the band as a 'go to' force for high level billing. Their performances are known to last up to four hours while providing their audience with funk flavors, atmospheric harmonies, and petal to the medal power. The Sessh also welcomes guests like Pete Wall on saxophone and Jeff Armistead on keyboards.
