Eddy Khaimovich has won the prestigious Hot House Magazine Jazz Award 2014 in bass category. This year, the honorable award contest was dedicated to the memory of the great late Frank Wess. The ceremony was hosted by Hot House Jazz Magazine president, Gwen Kelley and Metropolitan Room director, Bernard Furshpan and included performances by nominees and winners of the awards, including Eddy Khaimovich's performances with Daniel Bennett Group and pianist Jason Yeager. Award winners in other categories, included the legendary Jazz giants Sonny Rollins, Phil Woods and some of the leading contemporary Jazz musicians, Stefan Harris, Wycliffe Gordon, Don Braden, Joe Temperley, Jason Yeager and others.
