We just finished recording two new songs "Past the Tide" and "The View" at Full Tilt Productions and we are stoked! We go in morning of the 14th to finish mixing and mastering. Which means both songs will be online Saturday the 15th! Definitely check them out on our reverbnation page or at our bandcamp page and don't hesitate to give us feed back on our facebook page, we're curious what you'll have to say about it. Our marathon of shows starts at The Rock Kat in Duncannon on Saturday the 15th as well. We are excited to be playing often again. We're following this show up with a Halloween Fest/Costume Contest show at The 720 Club, then we're on to open for Icarus The Owl at Champ and many more shows after including a few headlining acts. Make sure to make it out when you can, we miss yo face.
DON'T forget that if you bring a bag of clothes to any of our shows, we'll trade you for a FREE CD and make sure your clothes go to the less fortunate. Aside from this we'll add you on our "Do Gooderz Doing Good" list to give credit where it's deserved in the community. We'd like to thank Eye-biz for kicking ass for the community in food drives, clothes drives and fighting for freed convicts trying to get back on their feet.
We're psyched out of our gourds for Halloween and Fall to kick in! We're recording two completely new songs in a week and shortly after that we're going on one of our show binges starting October 22 at The 720 Club. That show is gonna be especially GNARLY due to it being a Halloween Costume party! We've been keeping up with Cristion in Ireland and he's writing like a fiend and keeping a steady diet of cigarettes and Guinness. We're happy he's have'n a gay old time, but we miss the poop out of him.
That's all the time we have this time on Warm Custard Warehouse, till next time, wiki wiki
We just had our Chameleon Club show where we got to be a headliner! It was awesome getting to meet The guys from The Frantic and The Pink Spiders and get to hang out with them, pretty stand up dudes if you ask us. Along with these bands there were a few opening acts, but one stood out to us far more then the others. Alco was the first band of the night and they opened with this awesome original sound, almost indie/mixed with good 80's rock (Smith's, Cure, REM) but with out sounding like anyone in-particular. We met up with this three piece after the show and they're simply riotous. Be on the look out for these guys.
We are playing at the 720 Club saturday the 17th, come shake it grandmas, we'll bust a hip. On October first we're playing in barn! Rediculous right?! It's gonna be a party and a half, get PUMPED.
Also we got new T's made, designed by the band's very own Jordan. They look as cool as if you saw a flying whale fight a wooly mammoth on a space mountain, I know, pre-tty neat.
Last of blog, we can't get across how thankful we are for Samantha Dove and her AMAZING photography skillz, she is wonderful, google her images. Just awesome. And Jason from Full Tilt Productions, he is the next George Martin as far as we're concerned. And we are psyched to record more with him in October.
Just when our bassist Cristion earned his wings from fat camp he moved to Ireland for a semester. Luckily he got to record with us on our new demo "Checkered Past" before he left. And needless to say we'll be waiting with open legs for his return in early December. "Checkered Past" is set to release September 1st! We are really excited for this one. We recorded at Full Tilt Productions, a WONDERFUL recording studio very local to us. We can't say enough how great this studio and experience was, and we'd like to thank Jason Shaffer for working his magic. You're a wizard Harry! We know what everyone is thinking, "Warm Jelly Warehouse, what are you going to do with out Cristion on bass and your big Chameleon Club show coming up?! You best pray for a miracle!" Well, we thought about doing that. But then Brett Rudder said "Na man, fuck that bunny. I'll play bass and I'll play good" ...Two weeks since this made up conversation and Brett knows all of the bass parts to a T. We are ready and excited to open for The Pink Spiders at The Chameleon Club on Sept. 13th! Hope to see you jive turkeys there!
First off, FREE SHOW all you music moochies! Come shuffle your truffles in Coakley's basement on Bridge street this Saturday. The Kitchen's open all night along with the bar, yum. Little bear is opening at 8, we go on around 9 and Kid Cudi is rumored to come out for two songs that he's featured in. From what we hear, It's gonna be quite a hoot!
We just finished playing our personal record of eight shows in one month. Along with that in July we also recorded our second demo which is a teaser to our first full album coming out this winter entitled "Kids". Needles to say we're psyched! We recorded at Full Tilt Records and it was by far the best recording session any of us have ever been to. We go in to finish mixing on the 18th.
We'd like to thank everyone who made it out to see us in July. At the 717 FEST we didn't make it off stage before one of the co-owners of The Champ asked if we'd be interested in opening for The Pink Spiders at the Chameleon Club! We are bloated with joy out the gizzards and hope to see you fools there!
We'd also like to thank Kayt Lesher, Samantha Dove and Brittany Ziegenhagen for the wonderful pictures and original art! Any one looking to build their resumé and wants to see their work up on line, on posters and t-shirts make us stuff. We'll use it.
With in the past two weeks we've jumped almost 50 spots for the rock charts of Harrisburg area! With seven shows in July and more set up going into August we're excited about the momentum we're gathering. Also we just ordered badass T-shirts and soon we'll be getting profressional CD's made. Just to reiterate our last blog, we are VERY interested in original fan art. If anyone makes anything that we like there's a good chance of us using it for album art, T-shirt designs or even just posters. And anything we'd use it for we'd give the artist full credit.
We hope to see lots of peops out at our Whole Cannoli show tonight and at the 717 Fest next weekend!
Hugs n kisses -Warm Jelly Store
Nicolet Schenck, an amazing artist from Baltimore made some kick ass art for us (incase you did not notice our current wallpaper). If you haven't heard of her you should check out her blogspot page!
We're noticing that the more we collaborate with other artists (be it bands, visual artists or photographers) the more we keep growing this sort of community. We've always been about supporting the arts but as peeps help us and vers visa everyones been benefiting. This may sound like an obvious discovery, but we've never seen it so beneficial first hand. We'd like to thank Britany ziegenhagen, Josh Frisch and Nicolet.
In saying all of this we're hitting the studios real soon to finish our first full album. Any artists out there looking for work this summer don't be afraid to contact us on facebook. We're looking for poster art, album art, and eventually someone to make a music video.
Also, thanks to all the people who made it out to our show last week at Champ! We met some kool kats that we hope to see again!
We're starting to book shows in Philly, Washington D.C. and Baltimore for summer time! Also we're in the works of making a music video! Exciting stuff yo, until then we're playing at The Champ and St. Thomas Roasters very soon.
Friday the 29th we will be playing at St. Thomas Roasters in Linglestown, Harrisburg! Delectable Drinks, desserts and music! Yum! Psyched to see you guys there. Also, if weather cooperates it will be an outdoor show!

In two weeks we will be spending Easter night being the house band for MICA's end of the year showcase "After Hours" hosted by Josh Frisch. It is a free event that's showcasing the Maryland Institute College of Art's most talented performers, from music to comedy and everything in between. Excited to see some familiar familiar faces!
