"Edges of a Dream" Lyrics

"Edges of a Dream" Music and Lyrics by Justin McClure

Verse 1 A touch of life is more than a reason A dreams edge hangs the illusion A painted lie brings with it sorrow Leaving doubts of peace tomorrow The crimson dawn life will go on The state of mind won't last long Tranquil dreams remain to be seen Lost between illusion and reality

Chorus

The lie can't save you Uncertainty surrounds you The mind will deceive you Edges of a dream

Verse 2

Set adrift direction uncertain Acceptance is the recovery curtain Wrapped up tight in the blissful solution Losing sight of agony's erosion Freedom from the worthless tomb Seeds of freedom are in bloom The darkened sky brings the demise For the broken mind there is no surprise

Outro Edges of a dream...... Edges of a dream.......

Masquerade Lyrics

“MASQUERADE” Horizon’s Dawn Music by: Justin McClure Lyrics by: Shae Hornback Verse 1: She stood outside our doorway And all I could do is watch her Walk away from what we’ve made And now the time has passed on And I keep on, keep holding on But I don’t know how to get away Chorus: When clouds cover dark skies And the bottles lost its appetite And I can’t stand here anymore And I got to get away Reinvent my only face Be the man I’m meant to be Maybe that’s just me Verse 2: The mask will surely break away And the smile will quickly fade I need her here to keep in place Beside me sleeping or awake I don’t want my old mistakes But that’s a dream when I’m awake Chorus: Verse 3: Temptation burns me But you’re face is all that I see So I shed my fear and walk to you Chorus: Verse 4: She stood outside our doorway And all I could do was watch her Walk away from this masquerade
