Polly Osborn of Echo Eyes Touring and Management has announced that the agency will accept Leona X as a client. Polly says “Leona will make a great addition to the growing team. She is an experienced touring, recording and performing artist who emanates clear goals. She knows where she wants to go and how to put together a team to get there. Echo Eyes is proud to be part of that team”.
Leona is formerly of all girl rock band, Jaggedy Ann, who's album, "Boiling Point", was produced by Phil Rudd of the legendary AC/DC. Her new project has already made a huge statement in the Northwest with radio time, a full schedule, and multiple return engagements.
Leona X has been described as being like a kiss of dynamite, jaw dropping, electrifying, and sexy, and will leave you wanting more! With a dynamic stage presence, ripping guitar solos, and a powerful sound - she is what you get if you mix Joan Jett, Angus Young, and a little bit of Vegas. So get ready for an experience you won't ever forget!
Initial goals for Leona X include building the band’s NW presence and recording an album, via support through kickstarter.com. The kickstarter campaign will begin on March 15th 2013 and run for 30 days. More information can be found at www.kickstarter.com

Guess I'm not very good at updating my blog. It has now been 11 months post surgery and I am happy to say "I'M BACK!" Ha ha! Never before have I felt so alive and ready to rock. Can't wait for you all to see my new band!
It's been 9 months since my sugery and I now have full use of my jaw! And the braces are off! What a major transformation I have gone through! I was super afraid my vocals couldn't get back up to par, but I am proud to say I fought my way through this, never gave up, and now my vocals are better and stronger than ever! I can not wait to reveal my new smile, new voice, and new bad ass rocking band! It is ON folks! Get ready!! HA!! Lol
It's hard to believe that it has been 4 months now since my surgery! My face continues to change as my new jaw line settles in. They say it takes about 6 months to fully heal from what I had done. I have been doing physical therapy for about 3 weeks and it's really helping to get the muscles working again, and for my mouth to be able to open all the way. In July the braces will come off and I can't wait! Meanwhile, I have started my vocal lessons and so excited to get in the studio and record my new songs, then there is no stopping me!!!! Lol xoxo
O.k., now it's time to get back to business! Still working on getting my mouth to open all the way, but no more time off. Soon, it's off to the studio to lay down some new songs! Can't wait!
Halleluiah! I can chew now! I still have to eat soft foods, but it's another step towards full recovery! Next step is geeting all the surgery hooks off and being able to get my mouth all the way open so I can sing again! Then it's off to the studio to record my new songs!
Hi! I am a little over two weeks post surgery now and feeling much better! The swelling and bruising is almost gone. I'm able to eat soft foods like mashed potatoes, oatmeal, overcooked pasta, etc., and on my way to regaining strength, overall, and in my jaw movements, like speaking and singing. They say it takes a full 3 months, at least, to recover from this type of surgery. I am religously following doctors orders for a speedy recovery so I can get back to business soon. Wish me luck!
