Teaming up with Beating Blood Cancers and EP Release

Hello everyone!

I am very proud to announce that I have recently teamed up with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, and I will be donating part of the earnings from my EP 'Ishtar' and, later on in the year, my album 'Babylon Mood' to Blood Cancer Research.

My EP will be released in March, and on each copy you will find the sticker of Beating Blood Cancers as well as an informative leaflet. I am currently rehearsing with lovely Mercedes Carroll, and gigging will start soon. You will have a chance to purchase the EP at one of my gigs, and online - really excited! :-)

Babylon Mood, Mission Accomplished! - Thank Yous and Credits

Hello!

I am so very happy to announce that my album is finally complete! It's been a long time coming, but now we're all packed and good to go!

The recording sessions took place at Brixton's Iguana Studio, and the whole album was recorded, mixed and mastered by sound engineer Vasken Arslanian. His dedication and passion towards the project turned my dream into reality, and made it way better than I had ever imagined. I have learnt so much by working with him, and I feel the deepest gratitude for his wisdom in listening and his incredible ability to capture the heart of my sound and respecting it, all the time helping me where my inexperience caused mistakes. He did a wonderful job, together with Harpal, in arranging the drums. It made the songs so much more beautiful. To him my biggest thanks.

Next come the beautiful musicians who have played my music: lovely Mercedes Carroll (double bass), Harpal Mudhar (drums) and Kate Plane (trumpet).

Mercedes has been wonderfully patient when dealing with my long, handwritten double bass parts. A huge thank you for all her suggestions, corrections, advice and understanding.

Harpal - what a great discovery! Thank you so much for improving my sound with your ideas and for understanding where my music is coming from. Your work fitted the songs like a glove, I feel very happy and proud of having you performed on 'Babylon'.

Kate - it was a pleasure to meet you again in music-land. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support and for the beautiful sounds you have shared with me.

Last but not least, I would like to thank keyboardist Dan Clark for recording electric piano on 'Time' and organ on 'Joan of Arc'.

I am now waiting for the album artwork to be finished, and soon after that the album will be on sale.
