Seeking radio play and licensing opportunities for my original holiday song, My Christmas Wish. Feel free to message me, if interested.
Letting ya'll know that I will be slowing closing down my activities on Reverbnation over the next couple of months. To be clear, Reverbnation hasn't done anything wrong, I just feel that in order for me to move forward in my career I need to communicate wiht my fans and supporters through my official website www.nickikris.com - I'll still be checking in periodically and posting up-dates, but if you want to stay up to date on the latest and greatest from yours truly, please join my mailing list off my home page. You can also follow me on Twitter @nickikris and my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NickiKrisMusic
Thanks for all of your support!
I am currently searching for the following musicians in the Raleigh, NC area that would be interested in being part of a band.
Guitar Player Drummer Bass Player Keyboardist
Open to joining a local band as a lead vocalist with the expectation that cover songs would be kept to a minimum and the band would focus on original material.

After being contacted yet again to pay for advertising in order to increase my "plays" on Reverbnation, so that the “labels would notice me”, I felt I had to say something. Sure being #1 is great, however I feel very strongly that paying for inflated plays is against who I am, an organic authentic artist. You can say I’m not with the times, but I’d rather be at the bottom of the charts and have real plays, real likes, and real fans that want to play my music because they actually like it not because I paid money to increase my Stats. In My opinion, take it with a grain a salt, this is the problem with the music industry today. It’s all about who has the most YouTube plays, Twitter followers, face book likes, etc. It doesn't even matter if the music is good or if the act can even sing, no worries there is Auto tune and hey you can lip sync during your concerts. I don’t want to be known as that type of artist, I pride myself in the fact that I can actually sing, I don’t use auto tune, I can play an instrument, and I write my songs with thought and feeling. If that’s not what the big labels are looking for, well then I say it’s their loss.
Thought I'd give ya'll the latest on the status of my debut Album. We're finally done tracking all of the instruments and vocals and in the mixing stage. I'll be heading back to work with my buddy Daniel later this month to finalize the mixes and make any final tweaks. Then sometime in early-mid February we'll be sending everything off to be mastered. No firm release date has been set as I had the opportunity to audition for America's Got Talent in December and I plan to wait until their notification deadline has passed before we move on the Album. Fingers crossed that I get an opportunity to perform in front of the judges! Will up-load a taste of 1 or 2 songs on the album soon!
Thanks for the continued Support! Nicki
Been clocking a lot of studio time working on my debut album. Progress is slow, but I think the end result will be worth it. Hoping to release it in time for Christmas so stay tuned everyone!
A little frustrated with how the music biz works these days. I find it backwards that artists are automatically overlooked the minute they say they are not playing any live shows. People like Elvis and Diana Ross weren't doing live shows before they became famous. Same with more current artists like Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood. I think some of these music folks are missing out on some fabulous artists just because they don't currently perform live. The proof should be in the music not the stage.
