Jake Clayton was recently invited to the studio to lay down Orchestra tracks for Thompson Square's upcoming single, "If I Didn't Have You".
In 2011, Thompson Square's radio smash "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" garnered a Grammy nomination, was iTunes' Country Song of the Year, and became the Most Played Song of the Year at Country Radio. Thompson Square was also nominated for Best New Artist and Vocal Duo of the Year at the CMA Awards, among many other achievements.
Thompson Square's new single, "If I Didn't Have You" was released on Oct 30th and is currently in the Top40 on the MediaBase charts and still moving up!

(9-8-12) A new live EP from Mitch Rossell, titled 'aLIVE and Well', has just been released on iTunes. Jake Clayton played lead Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Dobro, and Cello on this recording. The fiddle was played by Justin Williamson, Brad Paisley's fiddle player.

Jake Clayton and Rob Daniels (Jake Clayton's Barnyard Stomp album producer) have both signed on to share producing duties for the upcoming album for Missouri based Country Music Artist, Rickie Lee Tanner. Drums are being tracked by Tesla's Troy Luccketta (who also played on Jake Clayton's Barnyard Stomp album) and a large portion of the instruments will be performed by Jake. Master tracking for the album is already underway with work being done at TML Studios and JD's Joint in Tennessee.
