This show on October 6 at the Masquerade in ATL was pretty awesome. It was good to get out in a larger scene and a larger venue to reach more fans. Our buddies in The Alchemy Effect did a great job despite having an earlier slot and definitely won over some new fans. We finally got to take the stage albeit a bit earlier than our time slot and really killed it. The sound was great and with around 70 people in house when the set started it was a pretty good experience. We seized the opportunity to take away some new fans, and we made ties with bands like Nutbush, Moreland and A Day Worth Dying For. So far this has been the best show we have play and we look forward to playing The Masquerade again.
Well after what seems like forever we finally have this band up, running and doing shows. It looks like our near future is leading us to record a 5 song demo and knock ATL's dick in the dirt come October 6th. Its a pretty big show called Cleans vs Screams, which is basically a funny way of saying rock vs metal. For me the opportunity is less about proving which is better and more about stomping a hole in a new place for our DEAD ARMY to fill with blood and metal. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more shows as we are doing our DAMNED LEVEL BEST to open up this scene to more metal. -Shupe-
