A New Year

Happy 2013, y'all! It's obviously been a while since I've posted here. The debut album is out! You can download 11 Years of Lo-Fi at tons of online retailers (iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, etc) or buy a physical copy at a few places around STL: Mud House on Cherokee, STL Curio Shoppe, STL Stylehouse, and APOP Records, for now. More to come soon! An additional single has been released with the full band as an mp3 download for 99 whole cents! Also at all those online places listed above. It is NOT on the album, so make sure you get both! Stickers are available for a whole dollar each. Dawn O'Neal did an amazing job designing the sticker, which comes in 2 different color choices: red/yellow and black/turquoise. Thanks again, Dawn! St. Louis-based weekly media outlet Riverfront Times (RFT) has said a few kind things about me recently too: my open mic night at Livery Co. won best open mic in 2012. You can catch us at 3211 Cherokee St. every 2nd & 4th Saturday, 9pm-1am. Ages 21+, no cover. The RFT also named 11 Years of Lo-Fi as one of the top 50 best STL records of 2012! Thanks to both the RFT and my fellow STL artists for the votes and kind words. The next album is already in the works, and the track list is chock-full o'goodness, including the single "Karma Is A Bitch." The Terrible 2s will be backing me up on the album, and there may even be some guest musicians--more details to come. Unicorns and kittehs, -Suzie Cue

Recording is going well! The EP has been done for quite some time now as far as all that goes, and the album is half-way finished all ready! I can hardly believe it! Dave has been rockin' out his fancy drum kit in my kitchen, and he'll be laying down bass tracks soon. Steve, our singer/guitarist in my other project, Drown Fish, has been patiently and tediously engineering the recording. That guy is a fucking genius. Anyhow, the EP will be finalized in the beginning of 2012 and hopefully become a physically tangible item shortly thereafter. More details to come!
