Here's the skinny on what I have going on currently. I am recording a new acoustic album for all of you out there and I am also going to be recording and putting together a band project that I am calling "CandleLitOrange", which will be a full production of most of the songs on the acoustic album. I will be doing all the parts myself and then looking for a backing band to play the shows with me when I am not doing my acoustic sets.
I am really excited to get this finished up and let you all hear what I have been recording and let you hear my new musical format. There will still be the Rock side of me that I like to do, but I have been writing more piano based songs as well. So I hope, when all is said and done, you all will all enjoy it as much as I did, while writing and recording the songs!
I am shooting to have a promotional mp3 up before the end of the year, so you all can check out various samples of the record that I will be releasing around Febuary.
So that is about wraps it up and I hope you all keep in touch with me while I am taking a break and recording lovely tunes for your precious little ears to enjoy. Keep on, Keepin' On...Ya Dig \m/
Don't forget next Tuesday December 7th, I will be at Quincy Maggo's in webb City, Mo., battling it out for a spot in the finals. Last night was the last night for eliminations and I will kick off the semifinals. I don't know who I will be going up against as of yet, but when I do I will let everyone know.
A LITTLE INSIGHT:
Recording is going well and am on track for once and feel really good about what I have to put before each and every one of you. Also, the band that I am currently playing keyboard in, we are closing in on wrapping up our recording sessions. I will be juggling both, my solo act and the new project that Wil Kimbrel (Dirty Deeds, The High and Lonesome, Snake Oil Revival) has birthed. So if you like Oasis, The Black Crowes, Queens Of The Stone Age and Jet, then you are in for a treat. So, with all that being said, be at the semifinals at Quincy Magoo's in Webb City, Mo. next Tuesday Dec. 7th and cheer me on for a finals spot in the battle of the bands. Hope to see all you Beautiful Peeps at the Battle. Life's A Garden, Dig It!!!!
I would like to start off with a "GREAT BIG THANK YOU" to everyone that has added themselves to my mailing list here at Reverbnation, you all make me a very humble individual!!! I also hope that everyone had an Awesome Thanksgiving and stuffed themselves to the max like I did. Now on to more important matters at hand. I am setting up to record my 2nd acoustic driven E.P. at my house starting this weekend...WOOHOO! So, if anyone of you know where I live and have plans of coming over. The chances of me opening the door for you is very slim...unless, you have beer and then it might be a possibility, depending on what you bring...I will take a case of Sam Adams winter Lager, please. I am still waiting on show dates. So all you Street Teamers, get out there and promote me and tell them that I am "THE BEST THING THEY HAVEN'T HEARD...YET" and to BOOK ME!. Because most of you know what I do musically and a stage in front of you is like a second home to me. Also, if anyone knows any bands or solo acoustic acts that are willing to let me open for them, tell them about me and that I am more than willing and let them know how to get a hold of me. Please and Thank You ahead of time to the ones that help me out in that area.
I have made all the current songs available for download on my players on Reverbnation and Mspace. So you should get while the getting's good, because those are only available until the end of December. I will be bringing the New Year with a new E.P., a new outlook on my musical career, possible publishing deal in the works in Nashville and hopefully have dates under my belt to get out and entertain all of you at some point in the near future. So with all this being said, The ball is finally rolling and I hope everyone is just as excited for this long awaited comeback. Life's A Garden...Dig It!!!
Best Regards To All My Reverbnation Family,
I will be preparing to record an E.P. of about 5 or 7 songs that I want to get out, so I can prepare my press pack. I have a couple of more songs to work out. I am clearing all the chaotic baggage that has clouded my Musically creative mind. I am waiting on show confirmations and when I get all the details situated out, you better believe I won't be slowing down. Anxiously waiting to hit the NOS button, because anticipation is a not a virtue of mine at all.
I will keep everyone posted. Because this has been a long time coming for the ones that know me. Thank you everyone that has hung in there with me and are excited as much as me to see this happen.
I also, have another project that I am currently involved with, out of Joplin, MO. playing keys. I will be juggling both, along with hosting an open mic night in Carthage, Missouri At Johnnies bar, that probably won't get started until sometime next month. I will be promoting the open mic on 103.5 the x out of Pittsburg, KS., so keep your hears to the radio the radio plugs to begin shortly. So all I can say is this, be on the look out for all that I have going on. Hope to see everyone out at the shows when things get going. OH....Don't forget about my 2nd round showcase at the battle Of the bands @ Quincy Magoo's Dec. 7th!!!
