The Blues Posse / Blog

Whats Happening in September?

We've found a new venue out in the country-The Waterhole Saloon in Del Valle TX and they like the Blues so much that they're thinking about making us a regular show! We'll be playing 9/2 and 9/8, of course we'll be back at Junior Grill & Ice House in Round Rock on 9/6, and The Downtown Hall of Fame in Hutto on 9/7 & 29. Another new venue in West Austin called "Senor Buddy's" will have us on 9/21. I once again I will have the luxury of performing a duet with legendary New York Guitarist and vocalist "Johnny Molinari". Hope to see you at one of our upcoming shows!

We're at The Downtown Hall of Fame in Hutto 4/25 from 6:30-9:30pm

Our Last two shows were great. The Show a Juniors Grill & Ice House on the 20th was truly packed all night long and we want to thank everyone for your support. The Show at Head Hunters was a bit less in turnout due to a double booking and our time slot was cut short by one hour and we finished at 11pm instead of midnight. Fortunately the owner was there and really enjoyed our performance. We look forward to another show there in the future and we'll keep everyone posted as we have more information. Speaking of information: We'll be at The Downtown Hall of Fame in Hutto this Wednesday from 6:30-9:30pm and it's real easy to find being located at 205 East St just North of highway 79 on your left. They have outstanding Gourmet food & drinks and a great staff. Come on out and enjoy an Evening of the Blues and Nuthin' but the Blues w The Blues Posse featuring Ms. Jacqui Walker on vocals, Dash Morgan on Guitar, Paul Wolf on Bass, Harry Pierce on Keys, and myself on Harmonica and Vocals.

James Merideth & MrJamie @ Juniors 3/10/12

The show at Juniors w James Merideth went quite well. Packed house for the entire evening! Thanks to all the fine folks at Juniors and the patrons who shared their warm enthusiasm. Hope to hear from our new fans soon!!!

The NO SHOW of Tom Blues Man Hunter didn't hurt at all.

Blues Posse Considering the strange absence of Tom Blues Man Hunter at Juniors last night for our gig it turned out great...packed house all night long and special guest for the evening Pat O'Bryan filled in with some very cool material that made the night a great success. Thanks Pat!

We Played a Happy Hour gig and a regular gig this week at Friends Bar and it was pretty darn good, all things considered...It was 104 degrees for the happy hour gig and only 102 for the evening gig! Talk about Hot Blues!

Hills Cafe Gig 8/12

Turned out to be a cool joint to play(been there since 1947!) despite the 100degree heat was fun and enthusiastic crowd of about 50 folks. Thanks you all!
