So just today it was brought up in conversation with a fellow hip hop head that indie hip hop artist that push there $10 mixtapes and been rapping in the same location for years. Should just pack it in and quit!!! I said WHAT??? She said it is a profession and if your not making it by now then your most likely not. I asked what about love for hip hop? Considering this is why i do what i do... I dont make much money off shows, sales, merch etc BUT boy i do love it!!! So ask yourself does doing something just for the love of it make you a loser? I THINK NOT

Now and days everybody wants to say that "Hip hop is dead". My belief in this is hip hop isn't dead BUT the fans are. People have no problem supporting someone they've seen on the t.v or who has already grasped there fame. Where as the local artists get no shine...We need the local hip hop artist to get there shine and plays so that they can grasp there fame as well. After all every super star rapper was first a local rapper. So this might just sound like a rant and maybe it is...BUT i would love to see more people supporting local hip hop artist and there hustle. Thank You
