In Brief 2014 and Beyond

She was a mixed year for us that’s for sure. After a huge 2013 that saw successful regional tours, radio airplay and love from promoters, all off the debut release entities. 2014 was always going to be a challenge to follow. We pumped out another diy film clip from the release with rerecorded vocals, tweaked the mix and refurbed weight of disturbance had a great response. We got a little fussy with the shows we chose to play and we felt it was the perfect time to get to creating some more material. Especially having a new vocalist we felt it was important, with this form of music particularly that the emotion is sincere and the band works towards their ‘new’ voice. The man behind the kit Tim decided to dedicate himself to becoming an officer of the law for the state of Victoria. First off this is hilarious. Initially we all thought it could work but the schooling period was hard enough and it was clear that the schedule of a new officer just wouldn’t allow Tim the time to smack skins for the band. Timbo regretfully decided to step down. We were lucky enough to have good friend of the band and stick thumping wizard Az, from Artilah infamy. Intact again we headed toward the end of the year with a stack of written tracks and a couple more shows under the belt to keep the blood flowing. We dreamt of putting out a world class release before the year was out but finances and time just would not allow us to make the dream a reality. We didn’t want to cut corners and simply ‘get it out’ so we decided to postpone. We did however record a couple of tracks that we are really pumped on putting out in the near future, one of which was ‘From Here’ which we dropped on NYE to a great response. Since then we’ve put out a lyric video thanks to GHD Video Studio that is the tits and are currently working on a follow up film clip. With some new tracks to come out in the first half of the year and an albums worth in the vault, 2015 possibilities are endless. HYFR
