Enlarging My territory

A lot has happened since I last posted. I played a show with Aaron Einhouse at South Texas Ice House which was awesome, I also played there again a few days later and I played at Coffee Waves in Port Aransas earlier this month. I have also been working on my debut single, which I hoped would be out by now, but we have hit a couple of bumps in the road that we are working through. I've also had a break in performing for most of this month, which has allowed me to take a more active role in planning my music career. I have booked my first couple of shows outside of the Corpus Christi area. I am playing The Outrigger in Palacios on June 9th which is very special to me because it will be my first show in my home town. I am also playing the Colet Inn outside of Victoria on June 29th. I am also working on breaking into the Austin and Houston markets, alll the while still playing and broadening my reach in the Corpus Christi area. This summer should be pretty busy! I want to take a moment to send a shout out to David White, who is producing the single and co-producing my first album with me, and Gabriel Ochoa "Rough Neck Rich" on KTAI who gave me the first opportunity to be heard by a large radio audience and who has continued to support my music. Thanks to all of you for your support as well! Stay tuned...

Man, it is such a pleasure to watch you take off and fly. Your one of the best things about Corpus Christi.

The Next Right Steps

Man, this whole month has been very busy! I played the South Texas Mopar Spinning into Spring Event on the 14th, played SouthTexas Ice House on the 18th, and I'm returning on April 28th to South Texas Ice House to open for Aaron Einhouse!. I also played an open mic at the Executive Surf Club with Mark Warden and we are talking about collaborating again. I also met and have begun working with a great producer named David White and we are currently working on sessions for my first solo ep and album! I just keep trying to take the next right steps on this journey, and while it is a lot of work; it feels almost effortless because doors keep opening. I want to thank my family, friends, fans and associates for their support throughout this journey and for giving me the opportunity to share my music! I couldn't do it without y'all!. Until next time- Stay tuned...

The Momentum is Building

Wow, it's been a busy few weeks! I've made it to the semi-finals of the Hofbrau Open Mic Contest sponsored by Badlands FM 94.7 in Corpus Christi. I also did an on-air interview and sang two songs on KTAI in Kingsville, TX on February 29th 2012 and I will be back to co-host The Rodeo Countdown on March 23rd. You can hear the show on Radio Flag and on Tune In nationally. I also had a song, "Can't Tell Love What To Do" entered in www.hosstheboss.com 's Hossey Awards contest for the month of March that is doing pretty well. I also have another gig at Vernon's in Corpus Christi coming up on March 21st and have new gigs on the horizon for April as well. I am also working on breaking into the Houston and Austin markets. I knew that 2012 would be the year that I start building a foundation in the music industry and that it would be a lot of hard work. I'm three months in and it seems that I was pretty accurate. It's also been a lot of fun. Thanks for coming to the shows and listening to the music. be sure to check out my facebook page: Aaron E. Without a Net

Hello All,

I haven't posted a blog about my music ever, so we'll see how this one goes. I made the decision toward the middle of last year to take a leap of faith and to start making solo appearances with no band. It was not an easy decision to make because I really enjoy playing with other musicians and I have been in a couple of bands that were very close. In my heart though, I knew this was the right decision. To complicate matters, just when I was ready to step back on the stage, I got sick and ended up losing my singing voice for almost 4 months. In fact, I booked my first solo gig at Coffee Waves Corpus Christi on September 23rd 2011, and this was before my voice was totally back. I had a lot of friends come out to support me for that show and it encouraged me to press on. I played Twang in October and played the Padre Island Art Festival in November. I also joined an open mic contest sponsored by Badlands FM 94.7 in December that runs through March 6th. I have made it every week and it has allowed me to work on my stage presence and gain a lot of new fans. I also played Vernon's in December and I am playing there again on February 22nd. I also signed with NDVERSE Management in January and that should also open some new doors. I have also been very active on the marketing side of my music. I became an ASCAP artist in January 2012 and I also was requested to submit some of my songs to Hoss The Boss Online radio to be put into their rotation. I have also launched an online store through ReverbNation and my website should be up this coming week. I also have other projects I am working on that I will announce closer to them becoming a reality. I have made many new friends and have had many old friends help me along the way. Thanks for the support and stay tuned...
