Words of wisdom...from The American Heretic's Dictionary

"CHRISTIAN BASHING, ger. (also called 'Anti-Christian Bigotry') The despicable act of criticizing christians or christianity. The unbelievers most guilty of this include feminists, pot smokers, gay people, erotic artists, sexual liberals, atheists, and other malcontents denying devout christians the freedom to live in a 'sin-free America' ruled by 'christian principles,' much as during the 1920s fascist-bashing Jews denied devout Nazis the freedom to live in a 'Jew-free Germany' ruled by Nazi principles."

- The American Heretic's Dictionary by Chaz Bufe, 1992

Words of wisdom...from Leo Tolstoy

"The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him."

Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy (September 9, 1828 – November 20, 1910) was a Russian writer who primarily wrote novels and short stories. His two most famous works, the novels War and Peace and Anna Karenina, are acknowledged as two of the greatest novels of all time and a pinnacle of realist fiction.

Words of wisdom...from Alejandro Jodorowsky

"Between doing and not doing, always do. Because if you make a mistake, you'll get away with experience and if you don't, you'll be frustrated all your life. Always be yourself and never what others want you to be. No matter if they're fathers or teachers. Always try to be yourself."

Alejandro Jodorowsky, (born 17 February 1929) is a Chilean filmmaker, playwright, composer and writer with a large cult following. His work is filled with violently surreal images and a hybrid blend of mysticism and religious provocation. His most notable works include El Topo (1970), The Holy Mountain (1973) and Santa Sangre (1989). He has cited the filmmaker Federico Fellini as his primary cinematic influence, and has been described as an influence on such figures as Marilyn Manson and David Lynch.

"The dark is my church."

Jack Ketchum is the pseudonym for American author Dallas Mayr (born in Livingston, New Jersey on November 10, 1946). He is the recipient of four Bram Stoker Awards and three further nominations. Many of his novels have been adapted to film, including The Girl Next Door (2007 film) and Red (2009 film). He has also been described by Stephen King as the scariest man in America.

Words of wisdom...from Niccolo Machiavelli

"Let it here be noted that men are either to be kindly treated, or utterly crushed, since they can revenge lighter injuries, but not graver. Wherefore the injury we do to a man should be of a sort to leave no fear of reprisals."

- "The Prince"

Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli (3 May 1469 – 21 June 1527) was an Italian philosopher, humanist, and writer based in Florence during the Renaissance. He is one of the main founders of modern political science.

Words of wisdom...from Martin Bormann

"Every educated person is a future enemy. Religion we leave to them as a means of diversion."

- Martin Bormann

Bormann was Adolf Hitler's party secretary and right hand man. This quote was contained in a long letter he penned reiterating the Fuehrer's views on what was to be done with the subhumans of Eastern Europe during WWII. Apparently, not much has changed with our world leaders.
