Biography:

Mo’Gravy is a four or five member band that includes three vocalists, two acoustic guitars, a drummer, an occasional bassist, and even some violin, mandolin and harmonica. As an acoustic band, our focus has always been on the arrangements and vocal harmonies instead of overwhelming the audience with instrumentation. Mo’ Gravy is different than most other bands; we play diverse music that harmonizes across different genres of music instead of being one dimensional.

Songs from contemporary artists like Matchbox Twenty, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Goo Goo Dolls, Sheryl Crow, and Bruno Mars, are played with songs from classic artists like Tom Petty, Sister Hazel, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and Bob Marley. Mo’ Gravy can arrange a performance that embraces your favorite genre of music, whether it is popular/ contemporary, acoustic classics, country, and even bluegrass, or we can perform a diverse musical performance that embraces some or all of those genres and more. It’s your call! With over one hundred and fifty songs in our repertoire, we can play the right music for your special event, whether the music is the focal point of your event or the backdrop. We pride ourselves in playing songs that our audiences know and love. It completely changes the event when the band is playing music that is familiar to everyone.
