Artist Summary
Artist Bio
Randy Vera has a B.A. and M.A.from Boston College. His writing method - which has landed his songs TV and Film placements - comes not just from his background in Comparative Lit from BC, nor his music training from the Longy School; but is more the result of his personal life's hard knocks, and twenty years of night club performing. Songs like Randy's "Here Made of Gone," produced by AIAA platinum certified producer Anthony J. Resta (Elton John, The Twilight Films Soundtracks, Shawn Mullins, Duran Duran, and more) bridge technique with soul.
Randy's songs build and release tension using lucid description, bright narration, and well timed hooks to engage the listener, and never let go. His use of universal signifiers like: "Don't You Try This at Home," - "Here's to You and Me;" and "I'm Right Here;" connect with the human condition on its most fundamental levels
