Artist Bio

The Benjamins, while based in the tri-state area (NJ/NY/CT), cover venues in over 15 states, from Florida to Vermont in the east, to Oklahoma and Nevada in the west. The Benjamins have appeared at major venues across the country, including arena appearances at Madison Square Garden, Izod Center, and The Prudential Center. They have also provided entertainment for numerous private functions, major corporations and high profile clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Sony Music, MSNBC, and Anheuser Bush. The Benjamins have rocked with major sports teams like the New Jersey Nets, New Jersey Devils, New York Giants & Jets, and the New York Knicks. They have also appeared on national and international media outlets, including WPLJ-FM in New York, VH1, FOX News Channel and many more regional and local outlets.

The Benjamins are also a successful original act. After adding their original songs into their cover show performances and gaining positive response, the band wrote, produced, and released their first original music album "GO" in May of 2004. "GO" not only sold out of its pressing, but it solidified the respect that the band earned with fans, peers, and the music industry. It also allowed them to obtain international distribution for their highly anticipated sophomore album. "Chronicles of the Garden State" was released nationwide in April of 2007 to critical acclaim. The band's star power shined bright with its "high-energy, modern arena rock" and was appreciated by fans everywhere. The Benjamins received airplay from several radio stations in the northeast including G ROCK, KC 101, and Sirius Radio. On the strength of their original material, The Benjamins secured opening slots for national acts including Cheap Trick, Goo Goo Dolls, Sponge, Third Eye Blind, Lost Prophets, Lifehouse and Drowning Pool. In January 2011 The Benjamins released the Single "My Best Mistake" and in October 2011 they welcomed Lead Guitar player Cory Pensa to the band.
