As a Performer:
Rus Cordova aka Tha Docta has been writing, performing, and producing Hip Hop music since the ripe age of 15. It was 1989 when he first rocked the mic @ the bigg's food court stage for Thornton Days in Colorado. Performing an anti-gang song over the Dr. Dre produced "Express Yourself" beat originally used by N.W.A.. This pivotal moment in his development as an artist influenced him to write from a more direct point of view, speaking to the community he grew up in, Globeville. Having matured and brought his sound to a more universal appeal, Rus dabbles in all things music and is committed to making music that tickles your ears, builds you up, and inspires action. Tha Docta has your prescription and the drug is the music.
