Author: NICK CARTER Journal Sentinel staff

Despite his name, soprano saxophone player James Dallas has been a Milwaukeean since the day he was born.
From his earliest musical training to his first gigs, virtually all of Dallas' musical experience has local roots.
Dallas grew up on the north side of Milwaukee and graduated from Washington High School in the early '70s.”
