Soon 8 Ugly will finally release their debut album called "Sleeper". Currently their single "Goodbye" is playing Maltese radio stations. The album will also include the single "Find" (recently remixed by top Maltese DJ Toby) for which 8 Ugly had been nominated as best newcomer at the Bay Music Awards in 2004 as well as "Lady Let it Lie", a cover version of Fish (formerly of Marillion).

Boris Cezek (of the New Harmonics) is responsible for 8 Ugly's arrangements and production, and a number of other musicians including Charles Busuttil (of Muzzle), Colin Zammit, now on the West End musical theatre scene, Ronnie Busuttil (of the Refugees) and Gianni (of Rug) also contribute to their work. Other contributors: Cliff Smith (of Bitterside), Kevin Vella (of the New Harmonics), Eric Wadge (of several bands), Ross Ellidge.
