Biography:

To pursue your dreams in anything in this world it takes passion, a plan, determination and faith. But for Nix The Future, it hasn't been the easiest route to realizing his true talent. From a youth, music and sports have been the biggest influences on a life that has been balanced with amazing highs and profound disappointments. Through it all the constant therapy has been Nix's ability to put his thoughts and feelings into what would later become a movement. Nix The Future was born in New Orleans yet raised partly in Tacoma, WA & in Las Gidi, Nigeria (which loosely translates to The Real Lagos in Yoruba language). More specifically Nix grew up on Victoria Island at Etim Inyang Crescent, and attended school at the American International School of Lagos. Here is where he honed his passion for writing, music, and sports. Here is where first experienced love and camaraderie with people that were from within the country and consequently all over the world. It's also where Nix developed his first love affair with life, thus the term #LOVELIVELIFE. Which is why he reps Lagos and call himself International Nix because ultimately home is where the heart is. His heart has unfinished business in LAS GIDIII!!!!!!!

Nix's sole reason to create music is to inspire, to stimulate and to make people dance. He had the privilege of enjoying a great year of collective accomplishments and exciting performances in 2011 while with the Take Off Movement, highlighting opening act opportunities like Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Tyga, and Black Cobain. For those that are true fans and supporters, they know that the summer of 2012 brought about the debut mixtape, A Scorpio's Mind. With hit singles like Need 2 Grind, See The Starz, and This Life listeners were pleasantly surprised to hear Nix bring lyricism back to the forefront. This album was a labor of love that brought the very best out of Nix during a period of uncertainty and challenges. If you're a true Hip Hop fan, be sure to keep your eyes out for Nix The Future as he attempts to make his mark in the music industry from a universal point of view. This year, with the re-launch of his personal NuPharaohMusik.com website and the upcoming A.G.U. project, Nix The Future has even more in store. He currently has released singles, Maintain on to iTunes and the club knocker Barry Sanders (music video available on YouTube now) which will also be on iTunes on October 28th. While this is only the beginning for the NMG Captain, expect the music to never stop as he has been hard at work on his next project, The Nix Tape Volume 1. No official release date has been assigned just yet, but it promises to be his best work to date. When Nix is not working on his own music he also moonlights as an A&R representative for Manta Ray Records in Baltimore, MD.
