Artist Bio
Simply put, Gordon St. is a rock and roll band.
Lead vocalist/bassist Dan Noonan and guitarist Ritch Harrigan cut their teeth together playing in numerous musical incarnations over the past decade; the bond that was formed from years of playing together is readily apparent in the band's blistering live sets. A veteran of several upstate NY bands, drummer Dennis Fatato rounds out Gordon St.'s sound with his solid grooves and tight harmonies. Prior to entering the studio in the Winter of 2011, Gordon St's line-up was solidified with the addition of Mark Bertini on keyboards. All who have witnessed the band's shows since Mark's arrival would agree that he has elevated the band to a whole new level.
The band has grown in large part due to the diversity of the venues they have played, ranging from nationally renowned venues such as The Times Union Center (Albany, NY), Northern Lights (Clifton Park, NY), Valentines (Albany, NY), and Hudson House (Nyack, NY) to intimate settings such as the Moon and River Café (Schenectady, NY). The band has also shared the stage with several national touring acts, including The Sadies and Barefoot Truth.
In early 2012 the band will release its debut EP, “Telenovella”. “Telenovella” is made up of five diverse tracks ranging from pop to hard rock that showcase what local fans have come to love about the band. The group will continue in 2012 and beyond to build its loyal fan base in the Capital Region. Remember they’re just "three blocks up, two blocks over…"
